It took six months of search to find the best place to construct “Tracce Verdi”. A place where the nature wind the studio completely and where the sea is the protagonist. At the end we chose a hill, two minutes away from the centre of “Soverato”, where it is possible to observe hawks or to be impressed by flying storks.

The structure of “Tracce Verdi” is one of the few studios in Italy which was constructed from the beginning for a recording studio. That’s why it was built an isolated structure. The walls are made of tufa with a high thickness, instead the drooping roof which balks are based on a special material with a frequency of resonance under 20 Hz.

The sound-proofing has been improved by a structure with the princip of “Box in the Box”. Only for the ground for example, were inserted seven layers of isolating material.

Because of the utilisation of particular pyramidal absorbing material and because of the particular construction of the drooping proof, the coefficient of reverberation inside the studio results less of 0.8 seconds.
